Biggs Picture Jasper Bolo, 2″ x 1 3/8″ inches, we hand cut all of our cabochons right here in our rock shop.  Biggs Jasper was discovered around 1965 in Oregon when Hwy 97 was cut through Biggs Canyon, there was a scramble to get what could be gotten before the highway was put in.  A search of the surrounding areas eventually produced  a couple more sites, but many of them have since been depleted or closed, any site still active is on private land.
